Two weekends ago, Wellspring celebrated its 20th anniversary year with a special two-night reading event. Attendees and visitors alike came to pay their respects by sharing what many of them called their “love letter to Wellspring”. The Poems from the Wellspring anthology, co-edited by Arlyn Miller and Wendy DeGroat featured 46 poets, many of whom shared their pieces at the Anthology reading.
Readers included: Preston Browning, Vivina Ciolli, Heather Livingston, Geri Lipschultz, Cheryl Fish, Joel Lewis, Ellen Jardine, Phyllis Capello, Janet Brof, Wendy DeGroat, Charlotte Davenport, Eileen Kennedy, Barbara Blatner, Scott Ruescher, and Arlyn Miller. Preston’s daughter, Katie, also read poems written by her mother, Ann Browning.
Our sincerest ‘thank you’ goes to all who contributed their work to the anthology and to those of who shared their voices and time at the readings. We could not have asked for a better weekend, and we are grateful for your warmth and welcome.
Wellspring lives on because you do.
