Local Flavors and Attractions

The Ashfield Lake House and the Ashfield Beach are only a short walk from Wellspring. Enjoy a quick morning swim, or enjoy some of the Lake House’s live music events, various cocktails, and a town favorite in terms of lunch and dinner menus.

In addition to the lake, the town park near by has tennis courts, a basketball court, a playground, and ball fields. The quiet roads and country trails surrounding Wellspring are great for an invigorating jog out into the neighboring farm country.

Elmer’s is a short walk down Main Street. It’s an Ashfield institution renowned for their delicious breakfasts, hearty burger-centric lunches, and their early dinner specials on Friday nights only. If you’re in town, you must try an Argentinian croissant!

Also close by on Main Street is the Belding Memorial Library, complete with computer and Wi-Fi access. Country Pie Pizza is also a great spot to go for those looking to sit with coffee and a book. They serve baked goods and homemade pizzas. When you’re there, visit the Hardware Store next door–it’s basically Ashfield tradition! Legend has it, they sell everything.
